Practice Intel:

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you access my data?

Depending on your EHR there are two ways of access:

  • We may have an existing connection with your EHR company, which would allow us direct access with your approval.
  • We utilize a login credential provided by you to your unique EHR instance.

How frequently does the Practice Intel Dashboard update data?

This is dependent on which EMR system you are using; data could be refreshed on a daily, weekly or monthly cadence.

Who can have access to the Practice Intel Dashboards

Typically clients grant access to leadership within an organization - such as the owners, chief executives, compliance directors, etc. After the senior leadership is familiar with the platform, our clients may choose to grant access to Clinic Directors or, in certain cases, individual therapists, so they can monitor progress/performance of the therapists they manage.

Can I have items/graphs added to the dashboard?

We encourage feedback and ideas from our clients on how to make this product better! If you have any additional information you would like to see in the dashboards, please reach out to our team at ptsupport@predictionhealth.com

For the providers in my company, what information are they able to access?

We work with our clients on an individual basis to set roles in the platform that will dictate the amount of data individuals can access in our platform.

Which modules do I have access to with my Practice Intel Dashboard?

Depending on your contract, you could have access to any of these three modules:

  • Documentation Compliance
  • Practice Optimization
  • Clinical Excellence
  • In addition to the three core modules. Clients  have access to "Focused Snapshots" and “Insights.”

Does PredictionHealth offer a referral bonus?

An introduction to a new PT practice that leads to a sale will result in a credit on your monthly bill. After the new PT practice has paid for their first month of service, the equivalent of 5% of that PT practice's monthly invoice will be credited to your own invoice. This will continue each month for a maximum of 6 months. So for example, if you refer a practice with a monthly bill of $10,000, you would get 5% of that amount ($500) taken off of your invoice each month, for up to six months. Your bill can never fall below $0.

What can you tell me about the security practices of PredictionHealth for this product?

  • PredictionHealth’s Practice Intel is a HIPAA-compliant AI insights solution. The solution pulls documentation data from the EHR into the PredictionHealth database in our HIPAA-compliant cloud environment. This data is processed with our proprietary AI, also in our cloud environment, and saved back to the PredictionHealth database. The processed data and insights are then displayed via our dashboards, which are protected by an authentication layer.
  • All PredictionHealth servers and data centers are present in the GCP and AWS cloud environments. All protected health information (PHI) is maintained in the cloud environment. BAAs are established with each cloud service. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. All PHI is maintained in the USA -- no PHI is ever stored outside of the USA. No patient data is ever sold to any third parties.
  • All employees undergo background checks and go through annual HIPAA training. Employees only get access to PHI that is relevant to their role / job.

What specialties does Practice Intel cover?

  • Adult Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
  • General Pediatric Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

How did PredictionHealth come up with the scoring system?

This technology was developed over the past several years in collaboration with Compliance experts who have audited tens of thousands of notes as well as our clients and their compliance officers who have been instrumental in validating our proprietary scoring system.

How can I be confident that the scores are correct? I don’t want to be making decisions off of bad information.

We continuously validate the scoring system with human review with compliance experts. We understand that confidence in the scoring system is critical.

Do you have a separate score for each payer since every payer has a different requirement for compliance.

Our Note Audit Score proves medical necessity based on Medicare requirements and APTA best practices, which we feel is comprehensive in evaluating documentation compliance. If you are concerned about scores being skewed because of payer distribution, you can get a more accurate record of providers’ scores by filtering your data by payer.
