Sidekick:

Custom Instructions (Beta Feature)

This feature empowers you to refine Sidekick’s suggestions by specifying how information should be structured or what additional content should be included. Whether you prefer certain phrasing, formatting, or content emphasis, this setting can be tailored to align with your individual workflow, note types and documentation preferences.

To help you get started, we’ve provided example instructions within the text boxes. Here are a few additional examples of custom instructions:

  • Always use "patient" rather than names or gendered pronouns.
  • Record the assistance level provided to the patient during transfers, if verbalized by the therapist.
  • Include any barriers the patient identifies to adhering to the home exercise program.
  • Record the numerical pain rating whenever the patient reports it.
  • Group measurements into these sections: Strength, Range of motion, Special tests.
  • If patient verbally consents to recording, include a consent statement at the bottom
  • If a home exercise program is discussed, insert: “Patient consents to and understands the home exercise program. The patient is able to demonstrate exercises safely.”

Feel free to use these as inspiration and adjust them to meet your specific needs.

Note: Sidekick is built to enhance documentation compliance. Adjusting output through custom instructions may influence the compliance level of the suggestions generated.

With this feature, we also provide the ability to set custom instructions per note type. This allows you to provide more targeted instruction for initial evaluations, daily notes, progress notes and other note types. The category "Other" will include any additional note types not listed. Once you'd made edits for a specific note type, you can scroll down and click "Save Changes". Then click the next note type you'd like to add instructions for, add your specific instructions within the text box, and click "Save Changes" for each visit type you edit. You can add up to 1350 characters within each text box.

If you have any questions on how to use the features above, please don’t hesitate to reach out to ptsupport@predictionhealth.com and we’re happy to help!
